The Folk-lore of Plants was educational. My Father was born 1910. He was taught how to heal with plants and things of the earth. My wonderful Father inlaw, Mr. Ebright born around the same time as Daddy also knew how to heal with natural plants. Oral knowledge was lost a long time ago. I do long for it. Having such power to help other's would be great.M My Father was 41yrs old when I was born so by the time I was teachable he was very sick and couldn't teach me.Product details

For the topic of folk lore and garden plants, this is a classic, an easy read that lives up to its reputation for being terribly interesting. It has the look and feel of a print-on-demand edition, but that's okay.

I have no idea how the author's writing is, since is offering the book at $0.00 and then says this book " is not currently available for purchase" ... what's up with this?

Okay, here is a book that is totally different. I know about folklore; however, when it has to do with plants, well, I just had to get it. Oh, the other reason was that it was free.
I gave it five stars because I got to know about something I otherwise would never have read. It is airport/train station/doctors office type of reading where other stuff needs to be blocked and this requires a great amount of focus, at least for me, to read!
I have to admit, I was a little disappointed in this book; I was hoping more plants were included. The information that was included was very informative.
